"Once you are real, you can't become unreal again... It lasts for Always!"

Celebrate the magic in this new adaptation
    of Margery Williams' beloved classic.

When the Velveteen Rabbit receives his first hug, fresh out of the Boy's stocking on Christmas morning, his toy-spirit comes alive and he discovers a world of wonders -- a nursery full of fellow playthings, a wise old Skin Horse, a loving Nana, and most of all, an adventurous young boy who may one day love the rabbit most of all. When he learns what it means to be real, the Velveteen Rabbit knows that's what he wants most of all. Will the nursery magic fairy grant his greatest wish?

The full musical score from popular Northwest composer Michael Allen Harrison, with lyrics by playwright Robin Catesby brings a rich texture to this new adaptation, from Nana's gentle lullaby to the toys' jazz era romp, "Mechanical Action," to the exuberance of the Velveteen Rabbit's "I'm Real." It's a musical experience that captures the heart of this timeless classic.
